Copenhagen 1000 Becomes a New Flagship of European Footvolley

Copenhagen 1000 delivered a historic weekend for European footvolley, transforming Kongens Nytorv in the heart of Copenhagen into a spectacular arena for three days of world-class action.

An estimated 50,000+ people passed by the stadium during the event, experiencing footvolley up close in the middle of the Danish capital. The level on the court matched the setting. European footvolley is stepping up — stronger players, stronger clubs, bigger events and a sport that is visibly growing across the continent.

The men's title went to SS Lazio, with Federico Iacopucci and Anderson Aguia taking the Copenhagen 1000 crown. Juan Silva and Rodrigo Otero, representing Politécnico do Porto, finished runners-up after another deep run in what has already been an outstanding 2026 season.

One of the biggest surprises came from CSV Frankenthal. Michael Weber and Robin Orschel secured third place after defeating the strong Hertha BSC partnership of Lukas Kicherer and Joel Nisslein.

In the women's tournament, Yosy Silva and her Brazilian partner Anna Mendes, representing Serfay, took the title and completed an incredible weekend of footvolley in Copenhagen.
