Recap: Elite Cup 1000. Saint Laurent du Var 1000. Nordic Footvolley 100. One Growing European Tour. 🌍🏆

It has been another unforgettable chapter in the League of Champions season, with three tournaments across Europe showcasing the incredible growth of the sport. From record-breaking fields in Italy to spectacular venues in France and the unique community spirit of the Nordics, footvolley continues to reach new heights.

Elite Cup 1000 – Cervia 🇮🇹

The Elite Cup 1000 made history, attracting a record 53 men's teams and 12 women's teams, making it one of the biggest international footvolley tournaments ever held.

The title went to Ron Ben Ishai and Maor Haas proving once again that they belong among the world's elite.

Another major highlight of the weekend was the annual Ballon d'Or of Footvolley, where Federico Iacopucci of Lazio Footvolley received the prestigious award after one of the closest votes in recent memory.

Hertha BSC also impressed. Lukas Kicherer and Joel Nisslein finished runners-up after an outstanding weekend. Afterwards, Joel described it as "our best tournament so far"—a strong statement from one of Europe's most consistent teams.

In the women's competition, Antonia Missethan and Julia Sauer-Rauch continued their dominant season, adding another Elite Cup title to their growing list of achievements.

Saint Laurent du Var 1000 🇫🇷

The tour then moved to the French Riviera, where Saint Laurent du Var 1000 delivered world-class footvolley in spectacular surroundings.

With incredible sports facilities and a packed stadium creating an electric atmosphere, the event quickly became one of the highlights of the season.

The winners were Facu Silva and Joel Cortes, representing Serfay, who produced outstanding footvolley throughout the weekend.

Finishing second were one of the season's most exciting new duplas: Mark "Haalandinho" Thom, who has joined forces with Brazilian star Vina. The new partnership continues to improve with every tournament and looks increasingly dangerous heading into the second half of the season.

The women's title once again belonged to Antonia Missethan and Julia Sauer-Rauch, who backed up their Cervia victory with another outstanding performance.

Nordic Footvolley 100 – Helsinki 🇫🇮

Further north, the Nordic Footvolley 100 brought together the Scandinavian community for its third edition in Helsinki.

More than just a tournament, the Nordic stop has become a celebration of the region's growing footvolley family. Players from across Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark gathered for a fantastic day filled with competition, friendship and shared passion for the sport.

Home favourites Belinho and Jean Silva, representing Helsinki Footvolley, claimed the title after an impressive performance.

Last year's champions, Rufus and Daniel Bessa, once again reached the final and finished as runners-up, underlining their consistency at the Nordic event.

In the women's competition, Carin Nylander and Ana Clara captured the Nordic title, completing a fantastic weekend in Helsinki.

Three tournaments.

Three countries.

One united European footvolley community.

From record-breaking events to family gatherings on Nordic sand, the League of Champions continues to prove that European footvolley is growing faster than ever. With every stop, the level rises, new stories are written, and the community becomes stronger.

The season rolls on. 🌍🏆
